ABOUT US

The Lost Keys (formerly known as The Hedge Hoppers) are a four-piece modern rock band from London, Ontario. The group was formed in 2020 by lead singer and guitarist Calvin Kelly, bassist Graham Kelly, and drummer Laura Vanhoucke. Later that year, they welcomed keys player and guitarist Adam Wiraszka into the band.

The Lost Keys offer a captivating blend of modern rock and nostalgic 90s alternative, reminiscent of bands like Stone Temple Pilots and The Goo Goo Dolls. With touches of blues, punk, and electronica, they have crafted a unique and energetic sound, complemented further by their dynamic stage presence. Calvin Kelly's vocals have been likened to "Eddie Vedder if he were a surfer," writing heartfelt yet gritty lyrics that resonate with listeners.

In 2022, the group released their debut LP, "If You Want Me To Stay", to sold-out shows in London and Windsor as part of their Southwestern Ontario tour, which took them to 7 major cities. The band played over 50 shows across Ontario in 2022, including notable venues such as Lee's Palace, The Horseshoe Tavern, Rum Runners, and The Railway City Music Festival. They were also selected to be a part of London's Indie Week program, participating in the pilot edition of the Venue X Venue Music Festival, a multi-venue event set to arrive in London the following year.

The year 2023 started off brightly with a nomination for the Best Rock award at the Forest City London Music Awards. The band has been hard at work writing and recording new material that will start dropping summer 2023. Brace yourself for new music, an evolved sound, and a jam-packed summer of shows!
